Popcorn Dial-a-Thon Instead of Den Meetings this Week!

Tomorrow, September 24th, is our Dial-a-Thon Popcorn fundraiser!  This fundraising event will be in lieu of our den meetings.

Please remember to complete the parent checklist to ensure we have a fantastic event:

1. Download the Trail’s End app from your mobile device’s app store

2. Create an account for your scout using the below details and confirm you can log in 

   1. Unit Code - ZMJT9, Pack – 350, District – Trinity Trails, Council – Longhorn

3. Identify 3-5 family and friends (or more!) that your scout can call or FaceTime to ask for their support.  

   1. Please connect with your sales contacts ahead of the event to let them know your scout will be calling between 6:45-7:15 on Tuesday evening during our event.  

   2. Once the scout completes the call, the parent will text or email the sales link (it’s easy & we’ll show you how!) where the family or friend then selects products and completes the online checkout process.

   3. Let them know they can support for as little as a $5 donation on the sales site.

Dial-a-Thon Event:

The scouts will have a series of “Quests” to complete during the event.  Since scouts will need to use a parent’s mobile device with the Trail’s End app, it is important that a parent complete each Quest with their scout.  Also, Scouts will earn a cool prize for completing each Quest.

• Registration – Check in at the registration table to confirm you have completed the account creation in the Trail’s End app

  • Leaders will be available at the registration table to help with this process

• Photobooth – Take a photo of your scout at the popcorn sales display and post your photo with your Trail’s End sales link on social media with the hashtag #SupportPack350

• Start Selling – Sit with your den and start making your sales calls!  Let your den leader know each time you get a sale for another awesome prize!

• Live Sales Total – We will display the live Pack sales total on the projector screen.  The scouts will be working towards a pack sales goal for an ice cream party!
