Today October 6th is our Dial-a-Thon Popcorn fundraiser! This fundraising event will be in lieu of our den meetings.

This has been an incredibly fun and successful event the past couple of years and we’re looking forward to another great fundraiser! There are a couple of important things to do before the event:

• Setup an account on the Trails End app (instructions below)

• Let family and friends know you’ll be calling next week

Here’s the full instructions and more info. Please remember to complete the parent checklist BEFORE tonight to ensure we have a fantastic event:

 Download the Trail’s End app from your mobile device’s app store:

• Create an account for your scout using the below details and confirm you can log in 

• Unit Code - ZMJT9, Pack – 350, District – Trinity Trails, Council – Longhorn

• Identify 3-5 family and friends (or more!) that your scout can call or FaceTime to ask for their support.  

• Please connect with your sales contacts ahead of the event to let them know your scout will be calling between 6:45-7:15 tonight during our event.  

• Once the scout completes the call, the parent will text or email the sales link (it’s easy & we’ll show you how!) where the family or friend then selects products and completes the online checkout process.

• Let them know they can support for as little as a $5 donation on the sales site.

Dial-a-Thon Event:

The scouts will be working to earn an ice cream party with all the toppings! They will also be earning fun prizes for sales during the event (and you can earn more through trails-end). Since scouts will need to use a parent’s mobile device with the Trail’s End app, it is important that a parent work with their scout during the event. We’ll have scripts that the scouts can use to help with the call.

Registration – Check in at the registration table to confirm you have completed the account creation in the Trail’s End app

Leaders will be available at the registration table to help with this process

Photo – Take a photo of your scout in uniform and post your photo with your Trail’s End sales link on social media with the hashtag #SupportPack350 or text/email it to family and friends

Start Selling – Sit with your den and start making your sales calls!  Let your den leader know each time you get a sale for another awesome prize!

Live Sales Total – We will display the live Pack sales total on the projector screen.  The scouts will be working towards a pack sales goal for an ice cream party!
